2014 Chevrolet Stingray

2014 Chevrolet Stingray

Sports car enthusiasts will likely be happy with the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Edmunds said that the redesigned interior and up-to-date electronics make this car well rounded. Check it out at Freeway Chevrolet.

According to carandriver.com, the new Stingray performs excellent on the streets. It can get around 30 mpg, which is good for a sports car. However, what is most impressive is the new interior.

The seats have been upgraded from the previous model. They can be adjusted in eight different ways through a high-tech control panel. The driver and passenger can customize their seats and find the most comfortable position. If looking for a full-leather interior, customers will have to pay extra from the base price of a little under $52,000. The convertible version of the car starts around $57,000.

Other high tech features include push button start, keyless access and a rear vision camera. The new Stingray gives plenty of opportunities for buyers to customize their vehicle. There are 10 different exterior color options and seven interior color options.

The new Stingray features a 460 horsepower, 7-speed transmission, and includes five driver modes, putting it in line with other sports cars in its class.

As you would expect of a Corvette, the new Stingray displays impressive speed. According to caranddriver.com, the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette can hit 60 mph in four seconds and 117 mph in 12 seconds (this is faster than the Porsche Boxster and Cayman). The Stingray can also stop just as quickly and at the same pace as the Cayman.

The new Stingray has already been sent from the assembly plants to dealerships across the U.S.

“It’s an amazing sight to see the transporters filled with Stingrays heading to customers in all corners of the country,” said Dave Tatman, plant manager of General Motors’ Bowling Green Assembly plant.
