Factory Reduction, Package Allowance Add Up

If you’ve been thinking of replacing your old truck, now’s the time to step up to the longest-lasting, most dependable pickup on the road. It’s truck month at Chevrolet, and that means you can get up to $10,000 off the truck of your dreams. There’s still some remaining inventory of the 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT All Star four-wheel drive edition, which qualifies for a $10k savings when you trade in an eligible vehicle. You can get up to $7,500 off a 2016 Crew Cab Model, and $4,000 off a 2500 HD Crew Cab LTZ. Stop in at Freeway Chevrolet and look over their entire Silverado inventory to see which truck is right for you.

Silverado Reinvented for Strength, Comfort and Efficiency

From the long-lasting LED lighting package on the LTZ, Z71 and High Country trim packages to the special editions that let your truck stand out from the pack, the new Chevy Silverado is definitely a pickup for modern times. Features like automatic articulating step rails, leather seats, steering wheel controls and plenty of sound deadening make the new Silverado as comfortable as it is functional. A variety of engines provide you a choice between the most power or the highest efficiency in its class.

6.2-Liter Beast Perfect for Large Towing Jobs

Choose the massive 6.2-liter EcoTec3 engine and you get a power plant that not only can tow an industry best 12,000 pounds (think Clydesdale horse trailer), but also gets an astounding 21 miles per gallon on the highway. This motor not only delivers 420 horsepower, but also provides 460 pound feet of torque, meaning you can effortlessly get your load moving from a standing stop. You can also choose a 5.3-liter V8 or a 4.3-liter V6 if you want to increase your mileage. Chevy’s motors are the result of integrating direct injection, active fuel management and continuously variable valve timing to get the most power and efficiency possible in a large truck.

Cowboys Put Your Tech Hat On

Just because you’re hauling bales of hay or bags of feed doesn’t mean you can’t use a little technology. The 2016 Chevy Silverado has an infotainment system that includes a powerful Wi-Fi connection, wireless charging and an 8-inch touchscreen to control it all. It’s easy to find your way on the back roads of America with the available navigation system. Stream your own music using Apple CarPlay, making those dusty trails just a little more enjoyable. Unique Proportion Provides Solid Stance

When the Chevrolet execs told designers they had complete freedom to design a cutting edge electric vehicle, the artists and engineers took them at their word. “We were given a blank canvas – a rare opportunity with a unique platform to recast EV design for customers across the spectrum,” according to Chevy’s managing director of design, Stuart Norris. “The team answered the challenge with a progressive design distinguished by dramatic graphics and exceptional passenger space.” With a long 102.4-inch wheel base and wide stance, the Bolt has an aggressive look on the highway. The Chevrolet Bolt will be going into production this year and arriving at Freeway Chevrolet in the late fall.

Smart Design Provides Loads of Passenger Room

With a flat battery pack, there is plenty of room in the rear seat for long legs, crucial on road trips with older kids or adults. “The flat-pack orientation offered the flexibility to make the most of the proportions while creating a clean, sculpted design,” Norris said. “This really opened up the interior and created a fantastic view from every seating position.” Along with seating for five passengers, the new Bolt has 16.9 cubic feet of cargo room, which is plenty for hauling groceries, luggage or sports equipment.

Huge Windows Produce a Greenhouse Effect

Unlike the greenhouse effect that is responsible for depleting the ozone, the large windows of the Bolt provide a view similar to sitting inside a greenhouse. The rear window goes all the way down to the license plate and a sharply inclined windshield delivers not only an excellent view but adds to the sporty styling of the vehicle. The combination of natural light with a pleasing choice of color selections on the interior means the Chevrolet Bolt will have an open passenger environment that makes the vehicle seem much bigger than its actual size.

“The Bolt EV’s design elements are designed for everyday life and the space inside accommodates it all, whether you and your friends go shopping for the day or take off for the weekend,” Norris continued. “Inside and out, this game-changing vehicle makes a dramatic statement with a distinctive identity that can only be a Chevy and challenges expectations for what an affordable EV can offer.”

Extended Range, Low Final Price Make Bolt Attractive

With an estimated 200 mile range and a price below $30,000 after federal tax credits, the Bolt will clear two important hurdles that have kept electric vehicle sales low. With plenty of mileage for the average commuter between charges, the Bolt removes the fear that you’ll be stranded somewhere with no power. Stay tuned to Freeway Chevrolet for more news on when the first Bolt is set to hit the showroom.
